NASCAR drivers to sign autographs in Kannapolis

Kannapolis — As part of National Tourism Week , the Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau will host two NASCAR drivers, Joey Logano and Chrissy Wallace, for an autograph event at the Cabarrus County Visitor Center, just off Interstate 85 at Exit 60, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Author Anita Rich will also be present for a book signing, and copies of her new book, NASCAR Portraits, will be available for purchase.

Logano, 17, makes his Nationwide Series debut in Dover, Del., driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Wallace, 20, made her NASCAR debut March 29 in the Craftsman Truck Series and will drive five truck races and five ARCA races this season for Germain Racing.
