Staff reportA schedule change has been announced for the American Legion playoff series between Rowan County and Mocksville.Rowan will still play host to Mocksville at Newman Park tonight to open the best-of-five series. Game 2, which was to be played at Mocksville's Rich Park on Saturday afternoon, has now been shifted to 7 p.m. at Newman Park. Game 3 is set for Sunday night at Rich Park. From staff reportsThree Kannapolis pitchers combined to limit Hagerstown to one unearned run in a doubleheader Thursday at Municipal Stadium. The Intimidators swept the twin bill 5-1 and 4-0 behind hurlers Charlie Leesman and Kevin Asselin. Leesman pitched the first complete game of the season for the Intimidators in the opener.
